Description
The HEPA filter is used to remove dust, mites, microbes, mold, allergens and bacteria. This filter is supposed to be replaced once a year, depending on the level of air pollution and the frequency of use of the dehumidifier. The filter is inserted into the grill that covers the air intake at the back of the dehumidifier.
The filter cannot be washed with water, any dirt can be vacuumed. Using a HEPA filter will slightly reduce the performance of the dehumidifier.
