Description
Faringosept 10 mg cocoa flavor, 10 tablets is a disinfectant medicine intended for use in the case of mouth and throat infections . It is used as an aid in acute infections of the mouth and throat in:
- tonsillitis,
- gingivitis,
- stomatitis,
- after tonsillectomy,
- after tooth extraction.
How does Faringosept 10 mg work?
The drug has a bacteriostatic effect (inhibits the growth of bacteria) on certain types of bacteria, such as streptococci (haemolytic, greenish-green) and pneumococci, which are a common cause of mouth and throat infection. It has a moderate effect on staphylococci.
