Indications:
Efferalgan 1000 mg effervescent tablets is indicated in:
- symptomatic treatment of febrile conditions and/or mild to moderate pain.
- symptomatic treatment of arthritic pains.

Composition:
The active substance is paracetamol. Each effervescent tablet contains paracetamol 1000 mg.

Mode of administration:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is 1000 mg every 4-6 hours up to a maximum dose of 4 g per day. If necessary, the administration can be repeated after at least 4 hours.
Maximum recommended doses
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 4 g (4 effervescent tablets per day). A dose of paracetamol higher than 3 g per day (3 effervescent tablets per day) is usually not required. However, in case of intense pain, the maximum dose can be increased to 4 g daily (4 effervescent tablets per day).

Contraindications:
Do not take Efferalgan:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other components of this medicine;
- in children and adolescents under 15 years of age (with a body weight over 50 kg).

Precautions:
Before using Efferalgan, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
At therapeutic doses, in the short term, the medicine can be administered during pregnancy, but the administration will be done with a recommendation and under medical supervision.
Paracetamol crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk. Caution is recommended in the administration of paracetamol during breastfeeding
