Dulcobis rectal suppositories - how do they work?
Dulcobis acts on the large intestine and stimulates the natural process of defecation in the lower digestive tract. The product does not alter the digestion or absorption of calories and nutrients in the small intestine.
Dulcobis is in the form of suppositories containing the active substance bisacodyl, which works by stimulating the peristalsis of the large intestine by irritating the mucous membrane and the nerve endings of the muscle plexuses. Bisacodyl increases the amount of water in the intestinal lumen, which causes: softening the stool, increasing its volume, increasing intestinal transit and easier defecation.
The product is recommended for use in the short-term, symptomatic treatment of constipation, as well as in preparation for examinations, before and after surgical interventions, when it is necessary to use measures to facilitate defecation.
The product can be used by adults and children over 10 years old. The Dulcobis package contains 10 rectal suppositories placed in a soft blister.
