Diclofenac cream 10 mg/g, 50 g, Fiterman
Read the leaflet carefully and completely before you start using this medicine, because it contains important information for you. Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Indications:
Diclofenac Fiterman contains as an active substance diclofenac sodium, which is part of the class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for local use.
Diclofenac Fiterman is indicated for adults and adolescents aged 14 and over, in:
- inflammatory diseases and traumas of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints;
- postoperative and posttraumatic edema.
Active ingredients per gram of cream:
The active substance is diclofenac sodium. Each gram of cream contains 10 mg diclofenac sodium.
Administration method:
- Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Adults and adolescents aged 14 and over
- The recommended dose of Diclofenac Fiterman is 2 - 4 applications per day, on the affected area.
- In order to absorb the cream, a light and prolonged massage is performed on the painful and/or inflamed area. Wash your hands thoroughly after each use.
- If after 5 days of treatment you do not notice an improvement in the symptoms or they worsen, you must see a doctor who will reevaluate your treatment.
- Use in children and adolescents
- Diclofenac Fiterman is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under the age of 14, due to the lack of data on the safety and effectiveness of administration in this age group.
- In adolescents aged 14 years and above, if the symptoms worsen, the patient/parents of the adolescent are/are advised to consult the doctor.
Contraindications:
Do not use Diclofenac Fiterman
- if you are allergic to diclofenac, to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or to any of the other components of this medicine (listed in point 6);
- if you have skin lesions, such as: eczema, infected lesions, burns, wounds;
- if you are in the last 4 months of pregnancy;
- in children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
Precautions:
- Before using Diclofenac Fiterman, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- This medicine is only indicated for application to the skin.
- It should not be applied to mucous membranes, especially around the eyes.
- The appearance of a rash on the skin after the application of Diclofenac Fiterman requires the immediate interruption of the treatment.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
- In the first 5 months of pregnancy, you can use Diclofenac Fiterman only on the doctor's recommendation, if absolutely necessary. Starting from the 6th month, do not use Diclofenac Fiterman.
- It is recommended to avoid the use of Diclofenac Fiterman in women who are breastfeeding.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
Diclofenac Fiterman does not influence the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
