Cream for the treatment of actinic keratosis and the field of cancer Aktin, 30 ml, Solartium

AKTIN® cream is a medical preparation indicated in adults for the treatment of actinic keratosis and cankerization of the field. Actinic keratoses are erythematous or hyperkeratotic skin lesions caused by prolonged exposure to the sun.

Properties:

• contains Piroxicam in a concentration of 0.8%, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory with COX1 and COX2 enzyme inhibition action, which play a major role in the pathogenesis of actinic keratosis and carcinogenesis;
• reduces local inflammation, favors the elimination of visible lesions and inhibits the progression of subclinical lesions at the level of the cancerization field, significantly reducing recurrence and the risk of skin cancer;
• Treatment of mild and moderate actinic keratoses (grade 1 and 2) on the face and scalp, as well as the surfaces surrounding the skin affected by this condition (field cancerization).

Way of ussage:

• Before application, it is recommended to clean the area carefully. It is recommended to apply AKTIN® cream 2 times/day, in the morning and in the evening, on the lesions and on the entire cancer field, in a thin layer and massaging until complete absorption.
• For optimal results, it is recommended to carry out the treatment for at least 12 weeks.
