Ointment indicated in the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of nipple inflammations in the pre- and post-natal period and in breast care during breastfeeding.

Properties:

• The active substance in Garmastan is guaiazulene, an oil extracted from the guaiacum tree.
• The curative and therapeutic properties of this substance have been known for centuries by local people in the regions of South and North America.
• This knowledge was used to create the Garmastan ointment, which contains the same natural extract of guaiazulene.
• Garmastan cream keeps the skin of the nipples and areolas supple and elastic, preventing the appearance of erosions (stretch marks) during breastfeeding.
• Garmastan changes its consistency at body temperature, does not contain fat, has no smell, and therefore is easily applied to sensitive skin and easily removed by washing.
• It is perfectly tolerated by both mother and baby.
• Garmastan can be used before breastfeeding.
• Garmastan cream is applied after the shower, starting from the eighth month of pregnancy, to prepare the nipples for the mechanical action that will be exerted on them during breastfeeding.

Indications:

• For the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of inflammation of the nipples during breastfeeding.

Administration method:

• Garmastan is gently applied to the nipples and areolas after each feeding.
• For sensitive nipples, a sterile compress with a thin layer of cream can be used.

Composition:
Guaiazulene 0.05 gr (excipients cream PEG 8, PEG-75, sorbitol, sodium metabisulphite, cetyl pyridinium chloride, water).
