Description
Transparent film dressing with absorbent layer Cosmopor Transparent is a medical device intended for dressing postoperative and post-traumatic wounds. It is self-adhesive and waterproof. It consists of 2 elements:
- a layer of transparent, semi-permeable polyurethane coated with polyacrylate adhesive,
- absorbent layer made of viscose fibers, covered with polyethylene mesh.
The transparent film facilitates the penetration of gases and water vapour, while maintaining its waterproof properties.
The absorbent layer, which is in direct contact with the wound, does not stick to its surface and absorbs the exudate.
The packaging of the Cosmopor Transparent product contains 25 pieces of transparent, sterile dressings, each measuring 9 x 15 cm.
