Cordyceps is one of the rarest and most prized mushrooms, used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. It grows in isolated places in Tibet, at altitudes above 3500m. The name Cordyceps means "larva winter, plant summer" which indicates the stages of metamorphosis and symbiosis of this miraculous mushroom.
