Wash your hands before and after use. Make sure the skin is clean and dry. Do not apply the cream to your lips as it may prevent the patch from sticking. Tear one patch along the perforated edge and separate it from the others.

Hold the transparent paper applicator by the curved edge.

Using both hands, remove the transparency paper applicator from the green and blue protective cover.

A round herpes patch will be visible at the top of the applicator. Be careful not to touch the sticky side of the patch.

Place this part of the applicator on the cold sore, using a mirror and press gently to place the patch firmly on the cold sore.

Gently break off the bottom of the applicator, leaving the patch in place. You can apply makeup or lipstick to the patch.
