Description

It is used for:

short-term treatment of fever in children older than 3 months, caused by a viral or bacterial infection (flu, bronchitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis and others)
in juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatic diseases (only on doctor's recommendation)
for mild to moderate pain (menstrual pain, toothache, postoperative pain, headache)
in case of soft tissue injury (sprain, contusion).

Doses and dosing schedules:

Each 1 ml of syrup contains 20 mg of ibuprofen.
The dose of ibuprofen depends on the patient's age and body weight.
There should be an interval of at least 4 hours between doses.

Infants and children under 12 years of age: the medicine should not be administered to children weighing less than 5 kg. The recommended daily dose is 20-30 mg/kg body weight, divided into a larger number of doses. Body weight should be used to calculate the dose, the age limit is only indicative. The maximum single dose of ibuprofen for children and adolescents should not exceed 400 mg. Adults and children from 12 years:

Rheumatic diseases: the recommended dose is 20-30 ml syrup 3 times a day (400-600 mg ibuprofen 3 times a day). In case of renal insufficiency, it is necessary to reduce the dose. The maximum daily dose is 120 ml syrup (2400 mg ibuprofen).
Dysmenorrhea: 20 ml syrup 1-3 times a day as needed (400 mg ibuprofen 1-3 times a day).
Pain conditions of mild to moderate intensity: 10-20 ml of syrup once or divided into 3-4 individual doses (200-400 mg ibuprofen once or divided into 3-4 individual doses).

The maximum daily dose should not exceed 1,200 mg.

Patients with renal, hepatic or cardiac insufficiency: increased caution is required, the lowest effective dose should be administered and renal function should be monitored.

How to use: Shake the bottle well before use. The included measuring spoon is for dosing. The medicine is taken with food, in adults and children from 12 years old with rheumatic conditions, the first dose can be administered on an empty stomach (to speed up the onset of action). It is necessary to observe the intervals between individual doses.

Warning The medicine should not be administered to children under 3 months and children with a body weight of less than 5 kg. The drug is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy. In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, the drug should not be administered, unless it is clearly necessary (to be decided by the doctor). The drug is not recommended for use during breastfeeding. The drug is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency and severe renal insufficiency (glomerular filtration less than 30 ml/min). The drug is contraindicated in patients with severe heart failure (NYHA class IV), increased susceptibility to bleeding or active bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation in relation to previous NSAID treatment in the anamnesis; with ulcerative colitis, even in the anamnesis, with Crohn's disease, with active or recurrent peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding (two or more cases of ulcer or confirmed bleeding); severe dehydration (caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake); COX inhibitors can decrease female fertility by affecting ovulation (reversible, disappears after stopping treatment). The drug should be administered in the lowest possible effective dose for the shortest possible time. Children 3-5 months of age should seek medical attention immediately if symptoms worsen or within 24 hours if symptoms persist. If adolescents need to take this medicine for more than 3 days and symptoms worsen, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Reaction time may be affected during treatment, which should be taken into account if increased attention is required (driving a vehicle or operating machinery).
