How does water filtration work with Brita Maxtra+ Pure Performance filters?

A resin that, as an ion exchanger, reduces the carbonate hardness of water (scum) and absorbs heavy metals (lead, copper). Activated carbon - when water comes into contact with microparticles of activated carbon, there will be a significant reduction of substances that negatively affect the taste and smell of water, especially chlorine and pesticides, which are captured on the porous surface of microparticles of activated carbon ( Micro carbon pearls). The extra fine mesh on the bottom of the filter prevents the possible release of small particles from the filter mixture into the already filtered water. 1 liter of water is filtered in about 5 minutes.
