Why organic cotton?

• ORDINARY COTTON: The cultivation and production of ordinary cotton has a huge impact on the environment and the people who make a living from the cultivation and production of cotton. Commonly grown cotton occupies less than 3% of the world's cultivated area. But it consumes about 25% of all insecticides and 10% of all herbicides produced in the world. When growing cotton, chemicals are used that are prohibited for growing food crops. After growing, the cotton is processed using other toxic substances, some of which remain in the fibers and come into contact with the skin. Cottonseed treated with toxic chemicals is processed into animal feed and the oil used to make candy and baked goods. About half a kilogram of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers are used to produce a T-shirt and a pair of jeans. More than 25 million people are poisoned by pesticides every year and about 20 thousand die from these poisonings

Instructions for washing organic cotton

• If a stain occurs on organic cotton, treat it with BILE SOAP or OLIVE SOAP WITH LEMON EXTRACT before washing.
• Cotton fabrics will appreciate washing in SOAP NUTS - they stay soft and breathable. We can also use SOAP NUTS WASHING GEL for washing
• We recommend soap slime only for soft water
• We recommend washing at 40 ºC
• Precipitation up to 15%.
• When used, it will return to its original size. We generally don't use conditioner on natural materials - it sits on the fibers and reduces the absorbency of the fibers
• For the final rinse, we use a linen rinse, which rinses the detergent residues from the fabric and thus keeps the laundry soft and breathable (not necessary if we wash with soap nuts)
