Read the leaflet carefully and completely before you start using this medicine, because it contains important information for you.

Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion, unproductive cough and fever associated with respiratory tract diseases (sinusitis, rhinitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis). Symptomatic treatment in cold and flu.

Composition:
One soft capsule contains 250 mg paracetamol, 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, 10 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide.

Administration method:
Adults and adolescents: the usual dose is 1-2 soft capsules 4 times a day. Do not exceed the maximum dose of 8 soft capsules per day, and the duration of treatment must be short (maximum 5 days). Do not administer to children under 12 years of age.

Contraindications:
Do not use Bioflu soft capsules
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, dextromethorphan hydrobromide or to any of the other components of Bioflu soft capsules;
- if you are breastfeeding or pregnant;
- in children younger than 12 years old.

Precautions:
Before using Bioflu soft capsules, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Due to the possible relationship between the occurrence of fetal malformations and exposure to pseudoephedrine in the first trimester of pregnancy on the one hand, and on the other hand the fact that during the last three months of pregnancy, all prostaglandin synthesis inhibitors can expose the fetus to cardiopulmonary toxicity (pulmonary hypertension with the closing of the arterial duct) and renal or may inhibit the contractions of the uterus, the drug should not be administered during pregnancy.
Pseudoephedrine is excreted in breast milk in large quantities, which can cause adverse cardiovascular and neurological reactions in the infant. Dextromethorphan is also excreted in breast milk. Several cases of muscular hypotonia and apnea in infants have been described, after the administration of other central antitussives in higher than therapeutic doses to mothers.
Therefore, as a precautionary measure, the administration of the drug to women who are breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Bioflu soft capsules has little or moderate influence on the ability to drive vehicles or use machines. Drivers of vehicles and those who use machines should be warned about the risk of drowsiness and dizziness related to the use of the drug.
