Aspargine 17 mg + 54 mg is a medicine with magnesium and potassium in the form of oral tablets. Asparagine contains an easily digestible mixture of magnesium and potassium salts of aspartic acid, which is an important element of the body.
Magnesium is an activator of many enzymes. It is essential for the functioning of the heart muscle, nervous system, vascular smooth muscle and striated muscle. It mediates the production and transport of energy in the body. Its deficiency increases the risk of heart attack, coronary heart disease and heart rhythm disorders. Symptoms of magnesium deficiency include: difficulty concentrating, hyperactivity, increased susceptibility to stress, and skeletal muscle dysfunction. Potassium is involved in the functioning of the cardiovascular system and the nervous system, as well as in neuromuscular transmission. Potassium deficiency poses a threat to the proper functioning of the circulatory system, the excretory system and the regulation of water and electrolyte balance (responsible for the proper maintenance of blood pressure and acidity). Aspartic acid participates in the transmission of stimuli in the central nervous system.
