Main product description
What it is and how it works Despite the fact that lavender and lavender essential oils are considered primarily relaxing oils suitable for evening meditation or falling asleep, their effect on the mind is more invigorating and stimulating. In aromatherapy, this oil is used to support studies or work. However, it also surprises with its harmonizing effect. “This oil is considered antibacterial and antiseptic. In French aromatherapy, it is used for colds, flu and respiratory problems. Lavender is recommended for nervousness and chronic fatigue.
They are also used in massage mixtures for muscle relaxation. They are also perfect for skin care," says Michaela Makulová, professional aromatherapist. Tip from an aromatherapist: You can use BIO Lavandin essential oil in many different blends. It gets along well, for example, with BIO essential oil Lemon, orange, rosemary, mint, cedar pine resin.
Cosmetics and household cleaning products: Homemade oils and creams suitable for daily skin care Natural cleaning products (homemade kitchen and bathroom cleaners, floor, dish and toilet cleaners) Air fresheners (toilet fragrances and laundry fresheners) Insect repellents (home remedies against mosquitoes) and other insects)
What is it used for?
Dosage for adults: Add 6 drops to an aroma lamp or diffuser to scent an area of approximately 100 m2. Add no more than 3 drops per 10 ml of vegetable oil or cream to body cosmetics and massage oils. For pregnant women, sensitive people and older children, use a lower dose. For children under 2, use the oil only for inhalation and in very small amounts. How to use Despite the fact that lavender essential oil is very safe, several contraindications should be mentioned. This oil can reduce blood clotting and affect the effects of some medicines - do not use it while taking anticoagulants. The risk also applies to skin application and inhalation. According to some sources, this oil should not be used on children under 2 years of age. Use BIO Lavandin essential oil within 3 years after opening. After this time, do not use the therapeutic oil (for the body or for inhalations), but only for cleaning the house. You may be wondering why we are offering the new lavandin instead of the original lavender? Both plants can be botanically correctly referred to as lavender. However, we decided to switch to the commonly known name in the practice of aromatherapy. Aromatherapy differentiates between lavender and lavandin mainly because of their effects (we describe the effects of lavender in more detail below). If you already use essential oil bottles at home, lavender oil will complement them perfectly with its aroma. And if you're just starting out with using oils in aromatherapy, trust me, you won't tell the difference - even the smell of lavender is very pleasant and typical of lavender.
